What Property Owners Should Know About Imperial Cleaners

Because some things can’t be swept under the rug.

About

ImperialCleanersWatch.org warehouses and publicizes legal complaints filed against Imperial Cleaners Ltd in Nova Scotia. By making those complaints available to the public and shedding light on the company’s business practices, it is our hope property owners and managers, including the Halifax Regional Council who is the main decision-making body for the Halifax Regional Municipality, have relevant information when awarding janitorial contracts.

Who are Imperial Cleaners Ltd?

Imperial Cleaners Ltd. is a janitorial company based in Nova Scotia. They also have a business office in New Brunswick.

They have been awarded numerous cleaning contracts from municipalities in Nova Scotia, including the Woodside, Alderney Gate, and Halifax Ferry Terminals, and libraries in the HRM as well as nearby towns.

I worked hard for Imperial Cleaners...When they asked me to work more, I said yes. When they asked me if I knew anyone that they could hire, I said yes and they hired my cousin. It was only when I started standing up for myself and others, they started to target me. I learned the painful truth that hard work does not mean respect or fair treatment.
